African fashion week, #AFW: See Stunning Red Carpet Looks From Days 1& 2

The Abuja Fashion Week started on
Wednesday, November 25, and apart from
the stunning looks on the runway, some of
the guests came out in their best to light up
the red carpet.


The event sponsored by Mercedes Benz and
Chocolate City among others, showcased
collections from mostly budding designers.
Some of the designers that took part on
Days 1 and 2 of the five-day event
included Tunurlz, Juwairah, Jummy Giwa, BZ
Design, B.U.G, G Nation, Kulture Shock,
Lurienobent and Rima Couture .
The runway event took place at the Capital
Hub, with exhibitions on Day 3 and 4 at the
Transcorp Hilton. Special guests included M.I
and Jesse Jagz from Chocolate City with
entertainment provided by Loose Kanyon,
Morel and DJ Lambo.
The event grand showcase takes place on
Sunday, November 29. Holma Designs,
Jumoke Giwa, Elegante by Leema, Bentmark
Milano, Dumebi, Timi, Aisha Abubakar
Designs, F.A.D.A.N. and Oroko 7 expected to
hit the runway.
Entertainment will be provided by A Strings
(The Violinist) and Sarah (Shyneband singer)
with guest appearances from Bobby
Valentino, Loose Kaynon, Milli and Habiba Da
Silva.
