gossip site, TMZ, Akon has turned over the deed
to his 5 bedroom Atlanta home to his mom,
which he bought a decade ago, for $293k, but
pimped it and made it more grand.
Meanwhile, Akon's mum is the President/CEO of
the Konfidence Foundation, which helps kids in
West Africa.
TMZ reports that there might be another reason
for Akon transferring the house to his mum. He's
got a bunch of outstanding tax liens ... So it'll
