Monday, Dec. 14th a very severe accident happened and several people
were injured when their bus drove off a bridge in
northern Argentina, plunging into a dry riverbed,
officials said. There are conflicting numbers,
some reports states 41, some 42, 43..
The new death toll from emergency officials in
Salta province was more than double that
originally given by a local mayor. Ten police
officers were hospitalized, four of them in
serious condition, emergency chief Francisco
Marinaro told a local radio station.
