A suspected burglar in South Africa got the fright
of his life when a mastiff launched a frenzied
attack on him biting him all over. The incident
which was captured by security cameras shows
the burglar as he scaled a wall and headed
towards the house in South Africa's Nkangala
District Municipality, in Mpumalanga Province.
As he stood by a trailer close to the property, a
huge South African Mastiff launched itself at him
in a savage attack that was captured on CCTV.
The dog begins tearing at the man's arms and
legs as he throws kicks and punches at the
relentless hound. The dog follows the man around
the compound tearing and biting at his clothes
and body before he is able to escape by climbing
onto a table.
The man was still at the property screaming for
help when the owner returned home an hour later
and found the dog guarding the table, preventing
the suspect from escaping. The homeowner
called the police but the suspect had to be
treated for his injuries before he was taken away.
