Following weeks of suspense and anticipation, the
cities of Port Harcourt and Enugu last weekend
witnessed what can be described as the biggest
events of the year. It was an amazing special
party by the iconic brand beer, Guinness to
celebrate its latest product, Guinness Africa
Special and it brought with it a lot of buzz and
excitement.
The fun began at Aztech Arcum event centre, PH
on Friday December 4, 2015 where thousands of
youngsters and fun lovers gathered to welcome
#TheSpecialOne to the garden city. The PH event
was hosted by popular comedian, Dan D
Humorous, with DJ Spinall bringing down the roof
with his energetic line up. Olamide and Phyno
kept the crowd yearning for more while Godwin
Strings, graffiti artist Osa7 and DNMT added
creativity and colour to the event. They were
joined by great local acts; Knowledge, Young
Stunnah and Dannas.
Guests also got a chance to make the night their
own with an instant T-shirt making experience
and UV body painting. It was certainly a night
alive and full of colour, creativity and energy!!
Two days later, the fun train hit the coal city of
Enugu at the Polo Park, Shoprite where Phyno
treated a large crowd of party lovers to a night of
fun marked with exciting performances and loads
of Guinness Africa Special which was adjudged
drink of the night by many present. The event
also had top local acts like Sym 19, Pacifik, Zoro
and others to thrill guests with DJ Spinall dishing
out exciting vibes all night.
The atmosphere charged up at the sight of Phyno
who closed the night with some of his popular
songs including Alobam, Connect and several
others.
Guinness Africa Special is the latest addition to
the Guinness family. It is the distinctive quality of
Guinness stout blended with Natural African
Extracts giving it a vibrant and refreshing taste
that is alive with our African spirit at 5% abv.
It is a brand that has been made by us and for
us, with natural herbs and spices including ginger,
grown in our African soil. Young Nigerian and
African designers designed the packaging. The
Ankara harp and pattern on the packaging proudly
projects our African routes and creative spirit!
The beer has been tailored to young people’s
tastes and at a price they can afford at just
N200.
#TheSpecialOne will be at Club GQ, Apollos and
Latitude in Ibadan tonight before heading to
Harrow Park in Abuja on Saturday, December 12,
2015. Get tagged for an invite.
