Adele, Kendrick Lamar and The Weeknd will perform at the 58th Grammy Awards. They are among the first
artists announced to perform at the music awards.
Kendrick's "To Pimp A Butterfly" racked up 11
nominations one of which being album of the
year. The Weeknd also has his album “Beauty
Behind the Madness” up for album of the year.
Adele's "25" on the other hand is not eligible for
this year's awards because it was released after
the nomination eligibility date.
“This lineup of talented artists is just the
beginning of what will, once again, prove to be
music’s biggest night. We look forward to
celebrating what’s been a wonderful year in
music, honoring the best of the best and featuring
never-before-seen performances,” Recording
Academy CEO Neil Portnow said in a statement.
For the first time, West Coast fans will finally be
able to watch the awards live. The award show
will broadcast live in both Eastern and Pacific
time zones at 5 p.m. PST and 6 p.m. MST. The
58th Grammy Awards airs Feb. 15.
