Camille Cosby Will Have To Testify Against Her Husband

Despite her attempts to fight the subpoena,
Camille Cosby, 71, will have to testify at her
husband's deposition on January 6.
Lawyers for Camille believe she shouldn't have to
testify against her husband because she doesn’t
have any first-hand knowledge of the alleged
assaults and she did not provide her husband
with the pills used to drug the women. U.S.
Magistrate Judge David H. Hennessy wasn't
buying it. “I find no merit in Mrs. Cosby’s
arguments, and accordingly deny her motion in its
entirety,” he said in his December 31 ruling. “Mrs.
Cosby’s dual role as defendant’s wife and
business manager, render it at least plausible that
Mrs. Cosby is in possession of information that
‘is relevant to any party’s claim or defense and
proportional to the needs of the case.'”
According to Page Six, Camille Cosby was
subpoenaed as part of the defamation lawsuit
against her husband brought by plaintiffs Tamara
Green, Therese Serignese, Linda Traitz, Louisa
Moritz, Barbara Bowman, Joan Tarshis and
Angela Leslie. These are the alleged rape
accusers that Cosby filed a defamation suit
against in December, who are now suing him
back -- for defamation.
