no idea the Strictly dancer was expecting her
first child with him

Rugby star Ben Cohen’s estranged wife Abby
has spoken of her shock after Kristina Rihanoff
chose to reveal on national television she was
having his baby.
It’s understood Ben, 36, had not informed Abby
of the pregnancy or the fact Kristina was set
to announce it to millions of people on TV.
Yesterday Abby, 36, simply told the Mirror:
“This news has come as a shock to us all”.
She added: “Please respect mine and my
children’s privacy at this time.”
A TV Source said: “It’s just incredible if
Kristina broke the news before Ben had the
chance to speak to Abby and let her know.”
Kristina, 37, had gathered the housemates to
tell them she was pregnant, on Thursday
evening.
She said: “There was something that happened
in my life before I came into the house over
Christmas … and obviously I thought it’s very
private news, you know but because we are
living as one family now and everybody is sort
of supporting one another now, it happened to
be that I found that my boyfriend and I are
going to have a little one.”
After being congratulated, a tearful Kristina
added: “Well I found over Christmas. Thank you
guys, I just didn’t know how to break it, what
to say, when to say, it played on my mind and
I wanted everyone to hear.”
When asked how far gone by former Hollyoaks
star Stephanie Davis, Kristina confirmed she
was “almost three months”.

Kristina’s spokesman said the couple were
delighted.
Their publicist said: “Kristina and Ben were
surprised and delighted to find out that she
was pregnant shortly before she entered the
Big Brother house. Kristina is well and looking
forward to being a mum.”
Ben left wife of 10 years Abby and started
dating Kristina after they appeared together on
the BBC show in 2013 - leaving her distraught
at the time.

1995.
Describing the split last year Abby said: “My
husband, who I was with for 23 years,
unconditionally loved and was completely loyal
to in every respect, has left me for a f***ing
Russian dancer.
“The last two years have been the most
traumatic thing to ever happen to me. He’s
done the dirty on me. I’m just trying to recover
from what has been the most horrific time of
my life.”

Ben and Kristina have always insisted they did
not get together until after Ben’s marriage was
over,
Kristina, meanwhile, insisted she had no
regrets.
Speaking about the events last year, she said:
“It’s not that I want to put the last couple of
years behind me — what happens in life, you
can never regret. You can wish something went
differently. It’s about learning, I do think that
life events happen because there is a reason. I
don’t regret it.”
Abby had in an earlier heartfelt New Year post
declared how she was ready to put “the most
traumatic” year ever behind her.

Abby declared: “So here’s to a great new year
of happiness, a fresh new chapter, new
beginnings, new love! New everything! I’m
really looking forward to where the new year is
going to take me in every aspect of life.
“My job, my family, my friends… and who
