
Some Northern governors are currently in Saudi
Arabia on a 3-day visit to the Islamic
Development Bank in Jedda, Saudi Arabia, where
they are to meet with the bank's president,
Ahmad Ali and other top officials, to solicit for
partnership to help facilitate development in the
region. The meeting between the governors and
the bank's top executives started today and will
last till Tuesday Feb. 2nd.
The governors were led by Borno State Governor,
Kashim Shettima, who is also the Chairman of the
Northern States Governors ‘ Forum, NSGF.
Governors Tanko Almakura of Nassarawa, Nasiru
El-Rufai of Kaduna and Mohammed Abubakar of
Jigawa are part of the delegation.
