Nollywood Actress, Funke Akindele, Finally Speaks On Her Relationship With Rapper JJC

Ever since her first marriage to Kehinde Oloyede
broke up in 2013, not much has been heard
about the love life of one of Nigeria’s
sweethearts, Funke Akindele.
In a recent chat with Saturday Beats, the actress
said that she intentionally shielded her private
life from the public because of what she faced
during her first failed marriage. Read whats she
said below:
''I really don't like discussing about my private
life anymore because it pays to keep that part
of your life secret. A lot of people are watching
and sometimes you read a lot of negative
comments about you which could make you
want to derail, so it is better to keep matters of
the heart close to the heart. I am the one in it
and I know what is good for me. I am sorry I
don't want to talk about anything that has to do
with my private life.''
However, it seems her new found love, popular
rap artiste, JJC Skill, does not share her opinion
going by the Snapchat videos of her posts on
the social media. Although the duo are currently
in the United Kingdom, last week, the rap
caused a stir when he posted some snapchat
pictures of his kids on the dining table and just
before the video ended, the camera faced Funke
Akindele, who seemed to be in her pyjamas.
Before the dust could settle on the snapchat
video that had everyone talking, the rap artiste
posted another video earlier this week. This
time, it featured his mother praying for a
delighted Funke Akindele.
One of the prayer points was that the actress
would be blessed with the fruit of the womb and
she would provide her with good grandchildren,
beaming with smiles from one ear to another,
the actress eagerly said amen in the short video.
The actress is currently on vacation and it
seems she is spending a lot of time with the
musician.
When Saturday Beats reached the actress camp
to confirm if the pair were an item, her publicist,
Biodun Kupoluyi, said that Funke and JJC had
been friends for a long time and they still
maintained that friendship.
''Two of them have been friends for a long
time and they still remain close friends. They
have been helping each other's career for a
while.'' He said.
