Presidency Answers The Most Asked Question About The First Rescued Chibok Girl

While it is far fetched that the
abductor (a Boko Haram insurgent)
of Chibok girl, Amina Ali would
accompany her to meet with
President Muhammadu Buhari –
several inquisitive souls still
pondered on the veracity of what is
ordinarily an anomaly.
Many have wondered why Amina’s
captor and father of her baby is
being called her ‘Boko Haram
husband’ while others simply can’t
be convinced that he didn’t follow
her to the presidential villa.
One of such persons is singer – J
Martins.
He took to his Instagram page to
ponder aloud.
“I am trying to understand the logic
in this. I am told one of the men in
the picture below is a “repentant”
Boko Haram member who is the
“husband” of the young girl who is
allegedly one of the Chibok girls said
to have been forcefully abducted
from her school over 750 days ago.
(1) Why is a man who was part of a
terrorist criminal group that
attacked and firebombed a school,
killing the security guards, and
abducting hundreds of young girls
in a picture with the President of
the Federal Republic of Nigeria?
(2) Why is the abductor and serial
rapist of a minor being referred to
as her “husband” when he
traumatised her and her family by
kidnapping her and forcefully
separating her from her parents for
over 2 full years, a man who did
not marry her with the approval of
her family?
(3) Why was this criminal given a
State reception and a Presidential
handshake?
(4) Why is this felon not in chains
and inside a dark dungeon giving
valuable Intel to the security
agencies to help them track down
his fellow barbarians? * Is there
something I am missing?”

on New Media has now pointed it
out.
And the presidency also gave some
more information to serve as
clarification.
“Our attention has been drawn to
rumours and insinuations that the
young man who accompanied
Amina Ali to the State House to
meet President Buhari is her
alleged terrorist abductor.”
“This is false; there is absolutely no
truth to it. The young man who was
in the State House (extreme left, in
the photograph below) alongside
Amina and her baby and mother, is
her older brother.”
“He is different from the man who
appeared with her in photos
released by the Nigerian military,
in the immediate aftermath of
Amina’s rescue.
All insinuations alleging otherwise
are false, mischievous, and should
be wholly disregarded. Under no
circumstances will a presidential
welcome be extended to terrorists
or abductors.”
