DJ Whoo Kid found himself in police custody Monday, when officers showed up to the SiriusXm offices and arrested him for non payment of child support.
TMZ reports that Nassau County Sheriffs arrived to Whoo Kid’s place of work in Manhattan and handcuffed him for an outstanding warrant from family court. Details on the warrant that was issued are kept confidential, but sources close to Whoo Kid told TMZ that he missed a court date and a bench warrant was put out for his arrest. According to child support records, Whoo Kid was 2 years behind on his child support payments.
Luckily for DJ Whoo Kid, he was able to prove to the judge that he is up to date on support payments and he was let go.
