The Lagos State Emergency Agency, (LASEMA), has confirmed that a tanker
laden with PMS in the early hours of today fell on a car at Ikorodu.
The agency said it got a distress call via the Lagos State Emergency number, 767/112, regarding the incident.
According to LASEMA, the tanker belonging to Forte Oil while trying to
make a turn at a round about fell on a Hyundai Saloon Car with
registration number KJA 421 AH.
The agency said prompt arrival of the Lagos State Fire Service, LASTMA,
Civil Defense, FRSC and the Nigerian Police, however prevented the
incident from becoming a disaster as they all arrived early. It's such a
VERY SAD incident.. May the soul of the departed rest in perfect peace!
