Ycee speaks on why he dropped out of school

For those who don’t know, the popular “Jagaban” crooner, Ycee, is a school dropout. But before anyone could jump to bizarre conclusions regarding his possible reasons for dropping out of school, the singer did well to share his reasons. As you know, it is very common for singers to drop out of school the moment they start making money from music. But the case with the “Jagaban” crooner seems to be a different one.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with HipTV, the singer noted that he did not really drop out of school per se. Rather, he put his education on hold because the year has been a pretty busy one for him. In addition, he said; “It does not really make sense for me not to go for classes but sit for exams. I am not ready for, or try to “rugged” it or do the exam anyhow.” This has proved wrong the popular opinion that his kind uses money to go to school.

Further speaking, he mentioned that the reason why he has not been seen in school in a long while now is best known and understood by him, his course adviser and his Head Of Department. According to the singer, he values his admission because it didn’t come easily. As such, he can’t throw it away like that. He hopes to go back to school later.
