Despite all, I still believe in Chelsea manager,
Jose Mourinho, he remains my numero uno
coach and to his 'haters', tongue out to y'all,
because, Mourinho's position in Chelsea is
unchangeable, despite two consecutive Premier
League defeats, which piled more pressure on
the beleaguered boss, who publicly attacked his
players following Monday night's loss at
Leicester, he wil bounce back.
Sportsmail can reveal club chiefs held a crunch
meeting to discuss Mourinho's future, the day
after Chelsea's shock loss to Premier League
newcomers, Bournemouth, on December 5., it is
still unknown if da 'big boss', Roman
Abramovich, was at the meeting.
It is understood those talks, which started in the
early afternoon, lasted well into the evening as
they decided to give the Special One more time
to turn the club's season around. Jose Mourinho
stated that Chelsea's chances of making the top
four have gone after their 2-1 defeat at
Leicester... Video below...
Paying Mourinho another hefty compensation
package and the lack of proven candidates to
replace the manager are believed to have been
discussed during the meeting.
Indeed, the manner of the loss will not have
helped the former Real Madrid chief in his fight
to persuade Abramovich not to end his second
reign at the club.
Eden Hazard looked to have taken the decision
to substitute himself after picking up an injury,
despite Mourinho's attempts to persuade him to
carry on.
The Belgium international, who was clutching his
hip, is privately adamant he couldn't play on and
is understood to have left Leicester in major
discomfort.
Likewise, striker Diego Costa, who has struggled
for form this season, publicly berated his team-
mates, accusing defenders of falling asleep.
The debacle at the King Power Stadium will not
have been well received by those in charge of
Mourinho's future.
Mourinho's public admission that a top-four
finish is beyond his struggling team is also
known to be concerning the Blues hierarchy.
After the defeat against Leicester, Mourinho,
when asked whether he felt he would remain
manager for the foreseeable future, said:
''The only think I can say is I want to be, I
want to be, clearly want. And I have no doubts.
I think you know me well enough, three years
this time plus three years in another time so six
years with you, you know me well enough that I
am not afraid of a big challenge. In this moment
it is a real big challenge. I want to stay. I hope
Mr Abramovich and the board want me to stay.''
