When I heard this story from a friend of mine on street, I found it hard to believe cause I know the kinda bro I have, OK he could be the most rugged, scanning, etc but then stealing????  noooo

Even when ever we gone camping together, bro always makes sure that things are pretty much saver , like I recalled bro dealt with me so much, when I took things at the camp and didn't tell him, knowing all this made me not to buy the news about initially, but when got online I saw it and I felt some crazy shit on me couldn't concentrate on things no more, I decided not to put it on here cause I couldn't stand to see my bro on net with all the shits accusations

Year a lady wrote about this true story, then it was all about beef that a friend could do this my bro GIDEON APAEL  the ever courageous bro I have 

THE TRUE STORY

GIDEON THE CRUCIFIED

Of the greatest Ife. Articulate Ife. This article

contains to a large extent, the story of the event

that took place as to the accusation of Gideon

Apael Ebunoluwa, a student of the Faculty of Law

of this prestigious university.

THE LAPTOP

With so much agony on the hospital bed, the first

thing Gideon said was "I no steal am, but na

revenge I wan do". He was asked why, but he

said the reasons and all he told me is he has

heard rumours of what he did not say and do.

The reasons he stated if published with evidence,

will affect not only the owner of the laptop, but

some other persons. The brief of the story behind

the laptop according to what "dying Gideon as he

then was" said was after helping the said owner

of the laptop in a particular issue; “I started

hearing gossips that the laptop owner behind him

called me ‘A SLY’ and would see him and still

smiles with me. I waited patiently till I found out

that it was true. To that effect, I was of the

opinion that even though I am not YORUBA, he

grew amidst them. I would make him feel the

same pain and tears the (laptop owner) made him

go through. So, on that faithful morning around

4:30am, I opened the guy’s room and all I saw in

the room were three LAPTOPS, a SAMSUNG TAB,

a SAMSUNG S4 and his roommates’ TECNO

PHONE. Seeing that they were both fast asleep, I

picked up the guy’s laptop knowing too well that

he would look for it with passion and straight up

he left for where he hid it”. After the laptop was

found, he told the owner of the laptop that when

he was ready to go home they should see and

discuss about something important which he said

the owner of the laptop will admit to it

sentiments apart and he also gave him assurance

that he would recover his laptop and the guy's

roommate could testify to it.

Another deep thought that should be remembered

is that he said he told one of his friends to go

into his room five days after the laptop was

found [which was the day his case was brought

to be moderated] that his friend should go into

his room that he would see a paper [containing

N11, 000] underneath his (Gideon’s) fridge and

said he should keep it. This gave the impression

that if truly Gideon had the intention of stealing,

he would not have kept the money till that period

and he later said that he put a call through to the

owner of the laptop on how he wants the money

to be paid, but he the Awo hall security

committee said he should not collect the money.

THE PHONE

When interviewed at the hospital, he narrated the

story behind the phone. It was revealed that it

was the same pink TECNO P5 that made me think

he was g** due to colour and not a SAMSUNG S2

as the media has it. The carton of the phone was

found and the IMEI (359005054229584) which

from a reliable source, tallies with the phone in

question.

Furthermore, he got his biological sister who

testified on phone that the phone was given to

him by her of which the pack of the phone was

found, while having his sister, other family

members and some friends as witnesses. This

phone was in turn used to as a setup against the

accused by this same friend that owns the laptop.

We then can see that this saga gone wild was

started as a game between two friends. It just

happened that the other friend happened to be

smarter, thereby leading to his friend’s (Gideon’s)

parade which was based on false accusations.

MEMORY LANE

Though Gideon’s optimism was very impressive

as he refused to give up on himself. He admitted

that he had done quite a number of things that

hurt a lot of individuals, but also his good sides

should not be left unspoken of.

A few persons like SEUN FAKOREDE (PHAKOO),

GIDEON APAEL, OLUWOLE (ENGELS) and SEGUN

ODEYEMI were the freshers that fronted the

protest against the "sudden N20, 000 acceptance

fee" without fear, even at the expense of their

studentship. We should not forget when there

was no union, in that he was part of those that

actively participated in the BIKE REGULATION,

TOWN IGBORO AND THE REGULATION OF THE

SALES IN THE BUTTERY.

Effectively, he served the entirety of GREAT IFE

STUDENTS with all enthusiasm and needed not to

be praised. The entirety of AWO should also

remember that in the absence of the union when

other halls had no hall week he was part of the

brainstorming crew of EWA DAY.

In addition, we shouldn’t loose the thoughts of

him when soldiers came at the level of OUI, he

was the only student who faced the soldiers

without fear of dying by the bullet when SAMMY

and company were at AKINLALU facing a riotous

protest? Gideon also broke the record of giving a

good awarded week alongside other elected

caretaker committee like Segun (chairman), Do

good (fin.sec), dammy tswag (sports) and Akin

Alarape (social dir.).

APOLOGIES

His apologies goes to everyone who was a victim

of his unfair exuberance, especially to Olasukanmi

Akindele Jr. His repentant self, claimed to hold no

grudge against anyone and promises to retrace

his steps, especially towards his creator. As

Gideon’s saying goes in the book of "Romans

3:4 ....let God be true, but every man a lier". He

further said that "most people know that Christ

died but not all believe he resurrected" (which

meant that he does not expect everyone to

believe him).

S.M.S (Scientific Maximum Shishi)

The accused was asked concerning how he felt

about the “Shishi” and he accepted with all great

pleasure that it wasn’t an effective means of

chastening. He said he remembered a colleague

(Bode) argued with him at the law basement that

there should be a way to put a stop to SMS

because it is dehumanizing he was head-bent

that it cannot just stop that way.

GIDEON APAEL has faced the same and he gladly

used fifteen good days on the hospital bed

coupled with a day in COMA and posed with the

danger of total blindness, even though his past

offenses still leave certain indelible marks on

people.

My thought towards S.M.S is that it is not a

justifiable mode of rebuilding or remolding a

person. To this, his opinion is that it should stop,

as this damages the substance of the person and

of course, the fate of each supposed criminal,

(who might even be innocent) should be handled

by the judicial arm of the Student Union

Government.

THE CONCLUSION

Greatest Ife articulate Ife, too much of words do

not fill a basket. If some say that he has to

suffer the unjustifiable due to he has made others

suffer, then WHAT DIFFERENTIATES US FROM

HIM?
