EFCC boss comes to the aid of girl allegedly impregnated and battered by an EFCC official

The Chairman of the EFCC, Ibrahim
Magu, has ordered investigation into
the battery of Blessing Nwokpa by
Okeke Edward, in Lagos. Last week, I
blogged about how Nwokpa, alleged
that she had been abandoned after
being impregnated by Edward,
following her refusal to abort her
pregnancy.
Magu has also mandated Edward to
pay N10,000 monthly to Nwokpa, as
part of upkeep. EFCC would be meeting
with the Legal Aid Council of Nigeria
that is handling the matter, with a
view to settling the issues between
Edward and his estranged girlfriend.
