TSR PROPOSALS: HERE’S A TWITTER PROPOSAL STORY THAT’LL PUT YOUR LOVE STORY TO SHAME!

Love can be found in multiple ways online, even if
you don’t have a Tinder account! Meet these two
love birds who now live in Atlanta after their
Journey via Twitter, turned into a live proposal in
just hours of…tweeting!
According to BuzzFeed, Anuj Patel and Sumita
Dalmia randomly met on Twitter when Dalmia
was just searching for a local event. Patel just so
happened to have announced on Twitter that he
had an extra ticket to the same event she was
looking for called, Jazoo.
Dalmia is obsessed with social media and uses it
to land business opportunities, win free contests,
and search for anything that’ll save her time and
money. So, when Patel coincidentally had an
extra ticket to the same venue she was interested
in attending, she decided to find other interests
they shared also.
They both are into sports marketing, so when
Dalmia responded to receive Patel’s extra ticket,
they continued to talk about their goals in life.
They met back in 2013 on Twitter, and have been
inseparable ever since!
“When we explain how we met on accident, they
are shocked to find that just one tweet led to
such a strong friendship and lasting love.”
After a couple years of physically spending time
together outside of Twitter, their love for each
other grew and Patel knew it was time to confess
how he really felt about his Twitter lover! He
decided to create a scavenger hunt composed out
of live Tweets and blown up tweet cards that
Dalmia was able to follow. The tweeted out
directions lead her to different areas of the the
city that were special to them.
“This tweet on 9/13/13 began our journey which
started it all. Visit the location of each event
which takes place in the fall, #SumitaFindAnuj.”
Said Anuj Patel via Twitter.
Dalmia was then escorted on a horse and
carriage, which dropped her off at a hotel for her
final stages to her big clue. There was already a
special dress waiting, as Patel asked her to
change and then head up to the top of the hotel
where the helipad was.
Patel’s final tweet said, “Will you marry me?”
Dalmia then presented her own tweet that read,
yes! They were finally pronounced engaged on
December 19, 2015!
Patel’s last tweet concluded their romantic
scavenger hunt proposal: “The couple that meets
on @twitter stays on @twitter. Social media
scavenger hunt proposal was a success.
#shesaidyes.”
Think you can top this newly-engaged couple?
