
A Nigerian diplomat working in Vietnam named
Sanusi Yahaya Yakubu received the cellphone he
forgot on a seat at the Noi Bai International
Airport.
On April 9, Vu Hoang Trung, a staff of the Noi
Bai Aviation Security Center, found an IPhone 6
Plus left at a chair near the baggage conveyor
belt at the international passenger terminal T2.
Trung then gave the phone back to the owner,
Mr Yakubu.
In a letter sent to the leaders of the Noi Bai
International Airport on April 12, Mr. Yakubu,
thanked Vu Hoang Trung and guards of the Noi
Bai Airport who found the cellphone for him. He
also praised the Noi Bai Airport for taking
effective measures to help passengers.
According to the Civil Aviation Administration of
Vietnam, thanks to the installation of more
CCTVs, the number of luggage losses in the first
quarter fell by 67 percent (125 cases) compared
to the same period in 2015.
