Two capybaras have escaped from a zoo in
Toronto sparking a manhunt and a police
warrant. Zookeepers at Toronto’s 399-acre High
Park Zoo have described the animals, which look
like guinea pigs, as “quite shy" and officials have
warned members of the public not approach the
male and female pair - they may be armed and
dangerous. lol
Capybara are herbivorous and indigenous to
South America and can weigh up to 150 pounds,
making them the world’s largest rodents.
