
Lisa Omorodion made the cut because of her
resilience as the Ceo of Platinum Studios, a
Nigerian film Production Company that made its
debut by producing the movie First Cut in 2013,
the movie focused on the societal stigma
attached to and the consequent psychological
burden that cloaks victims of rape which
inevitably alters their perspective on life. She also
produced the yet to be released Schemers in
2015, Another movie that highlights the
consequences of domestic violence ..
Her wealth and knowledge of experience in this
field is translated into her excellent production of
cinematographic Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola– DJ
Cuppy released House of Cuppy, her first
compilation mixtape in London and Lagos in
2014.
She was the resident DJ at the 2014 MTV Africa
Music Awards in Durban. She has played at the
Tatler and Christie’s Art Ball in London, the
Financial Times Luxury Summit in Mexico City,
Diane Von Furstenberg Awards in New York and
the Oil Barons Charity in Dubai.
Also in 2014 she launched Red Velvet Music
Group, a music management and content
production company . She was featured in the
2015 April/May issue of Forbes Woman Africa.
She is currently an intern at Jay-Z’s Roc Nation.
