Nigerian male barbie, Bobrisky, made the list of speakers at the "New Media citizens & governance conference", holding in Abuja this Thursday, 27 October well It seems the inclusion of Bobrisky, has made some prominent speakers at the event to pull out.

Special Assistant to the President on New Media, Bashir Ahmed, announced earlier that, he would not attend the New Media conference because Bobrisky was on the same panel.

While Nigerians were still trying to absorb this news, Alder Consulting, another member of the panel, took to their Twitter page this evening and announced their pulling out. And the reason they gave? Oh well, because Bobrisky is on the panel.

According to Alder, Bobrisky's inclusion "radicalises what should otherwise be a serious discourse on new approaches to media". Read their statement below..
