Fayose faults INEC chairman on electoral violence, blames INEC partisanship for violence

Ekiti State governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose, has faulted the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Mahmood Yakubu on reasons for the renewed electoral violence in the country, saying; “Violence returned to our electoral process because of INEC partisanship and manipulation of the electoral process in favour of the All Progressives Congress (APC).”

Witness tells court how AIT Chairman, Raymond Dokpesi, got N2.1bn for campaign

Shuaibu Salisu Abdulmalik, a prosecution witness in the trial of Chief Raymond Dokpesi yesterday December 13th, told Justice John Tsoho of the Federal High Court Abuja that, Dokpesi’s company, Daar Communications Plc was paid N2.1billion as media campaign fund on the instruction of Sambo Dasuki, former National Security Adviser, NSA, insisting that the money was not captured in the budget.

Please arrest more judges- Mbaka urges FG

Controversial Catholic priest and Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry, Emene, Enugu, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has urged the Federal government to arrest more judges that are suspected to be involved in corrupt practices. Mbaka who made the call while speaking at the thanksgiving mass to mark the Enugu State Judiciary 2016/2017 legal year at the Adoration ground, said the arrest of some judges in October by the DSS is supernatural.

FG plans to import fuel from Niger republic

NNPC Group Managing Director, Maikanti Baru, over the weekend disclosed ongoing plans by the Federal Government to import fuel from Niger Republic to Nigeria. Baru who disclosed this during a town hall meeting with the management and staff of KRPC in Kaduna, said President Buhari has ordered the construction of about 1, 000 kilometer crude oil pipelines from Niger Republic to Kaduna Refinery.
