Fayose faults INEC chairman on electoral violence, blames INEC partisanship for violence

Ekiti State governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose, has faulted the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Mahmood Yakubu on reasons for the renewed electoral violence in the country, saying; “Violence returned to our electoral process because of INEC partisanship and manipulation of the electoral process in favour of the All Progressives Congress (APC).”

Amina Yakubu, pictured right, has been arrested by the Kaduna state police command, for torturing her 4 year old step son, Al-Amin, with hot iron at their home on Kura Street Layin Aminu Kano Mando in Kaduna state. The child's mother got separated from his father some months back and Al-Amin had no choice but to live with his father and step mother. Amina has not given any valid reason for her brutal attacks on Al-Amin. Witch!

Stray lion attacks and injured two people in Uganda

A stray lion from the Queen Elizabeth National park attacked two brothers as they worked in their garden. Elijah Akugizibwe and Francis Tugume were on Thursday October 6th tending to their garden when the lion first attacked the former before injuring the latter who had come to rescue him. The brothers raised an alarm which attracted residents and the animal was overpowered and killed.

The dramatic incident took place in the
Kadhimiyah neighborhood of Baghdad, Iraq and
was captured by CCTV cameras and
photographers present. A police officer named
Saad Ali Thabit discovered and then held a
would-be bomber during a routine search at the
checkpoint where he was working. Immediately
other people lined up at the checkpoint noticed
the situation, they all ran away to protect their
lives.
Nevertheless, Thabit engaged in a life-and-death
struggle with the ISIS suicide bomber and
successfully restrained him. He somehow found
time to pose for a picture while holding the
jihadi's arms up to stop him triggering his bomb
and killing dozens of people. As he pressed him
against the wall, his colleagues ripped off the
militant's clothes to reveal the homemade
explosive belt and cut it off him. He then forced
the radical to the ground and tied his hands
behind his back.

Amber Heard just showed up in court
with a bruise on her face claiming Johnny
Depp physically assaulted her and she's
the victim of repeated domestic violence
... TMZ has learned, but sources
connected to Johnny are calling BS,
saying Amber "is an affront to real
victims of domestic violence."
Heard showed up with her lawyer, Samantha
Spector , armed with photos showing various
bruises ... she claims Depp inflicted various
times during their marriage. We obtained this pic
... showing Amber with a bruise around her eye,
which she says Depp inflicted Saturday night.
Heard claims the pic was taken shortly after she
was allegedly struck.
She claims Depp smashed his iPhone on her
face.
Amber claims during the alleged attack, Johnny
shattered various objects in the apartment. She
says she was on the phone with a friend during
the fight, and when Johnny grabbed her phone
she screamed to her friend, "Call the cops!" The
friend called 911 and cops came to the
residence.
Amber says when cops arrived Johnny had
already fled, so they took a report.
We're told cops told Amber they would find
Johnny and arrest him if she gave a statement
about the alleged violence, but she refused.
Officers told her if she changed her mind she
could call them.
Cops gave Amber this business card and told
her to call if she wants to press charges. As far
as we know, she has not gone back to the cops.
Heard claims after he allegedly hit her he
offered her money to stay quiet, but instead she
filed for divorce first thing Monday morning.
Amber says she has video of one of the
beatings.
It's interesting ... she's asking for a temporary
restraining order claiming there's an immediate
threat of harm, but Depp has been out of town
since Wednesday promoting his new movie.
Depp's lawyer, Laura Wasser , appeared on his
behalf.
TMZ broke the story ... 3 days after Depp's
mom died, Amber filed for divorce. And one
week after his mom died, she's claiming
domestic violence.
As for why Depp and his people are calling BS
... first she never filed a police report, and she
posted Instagram pics after the alleged beating
and never showed any injury.
Update:
The judge just granted a temporary restraining
order, requiring Johnny to stay 100 yards away
from Amber, at least until a hearing next month.
That's not a real problem since Johnny is in
Europe promoting his movie.
The judge also gave her the right to live in the
family home. The judge rejected many other
requests by Amber ... notably, the judge said no
to an order keeping Johnny away from at least
one of their dogs, saying there was "an
insufficient showing to protect the pet dog." It's
unclear why the judge didn't reference the
second dog.
And Amber also got shut down when it came to
awarding spousal support she wanted $50k
per month -- and attorney's fees. The judge also
rejected her request for possession of their
Range Rover and another request to force
Johnny into anger management.
Update:
Amber Heard claims in legal docs ... during their
entire relationship Johnny Depp was verbally
and physically abusive, and she lays part of the
blame on drug and alcohol abuse. TMZ has
obtained the legal docs Amber filed to support
her claim that Johnny smashed an iPhone
against her face Saturday night, which she
claims triggered her move to file for divorce.
As we reported, cops came but she declined to
file a report. Amber claims, before the alleged
incident over the weekend during her birthday
party at home last month ... Johnny showed up
"inebriated and high." She says after the guests
left, they argued and he threw a magnum-sized
bottle of champagne at the wall and a wine
glass at her. She says he grabbed her by the
shoulders and pushed her onto the bed. She also
says he grabbed her by the hair and shoved her
to the floor.
Amber says she didn't see Johnny again for a
month, until Saturday night. She says he was
drunk and high again and they were talking
about his mom's passing the day before. She
says he "suddenly began obsessing" about
something, got mad, grabbed the phone, "wound
up his arm like a baseball pitcher and threw the
cell phone at me striking my cheek and eye." She
claims he also pulled her hair and struck her,
then she says he grabbed a magnum-sized
bottle of wine, chugged some and then used the
bottle to break objects around the house.
Amber Heard had no evidence of any injuries
when cops came to her home Saturday night
after getting a 911 call ... this according to
LAPD law enforcement sources.
As we reported, when cops arrived Amber
refused to file a police report. She now claims
Johnny hurled a cell phone at her face, badly
bruising her eye, but our law enforcement
sources say they saw no injury at all. In fact,
we're told she never alleged any brutality ... just
that they had an argument.
Our sources say she refused to offer any more
information, so they left.
As we reported, sources connected with Johnny
say Amber is lying ... making up the domestic
violence story. One of the things Johnny points
to is Instagram ... Amber was tagged in a pic
showing she was partying with friends Sunday,
the day after the alleged attack.
The LAPD says they had no reason to believe
Johnny Depp struck Amber Heard with his phone
when they were called to the couple's
apartment.

The story is on UK Daily Mail and they claim it
happened in Nigeria. But when did they start
whipping people in Nigeria for adultery? Anyway,
to the story. The video which was allegedly shot
in Nigeria shows a man being held down and
whipped for committing adultery with someone
else's wife. He was held down on a bench and
whipped with sticks after an angry mob
marched him through the village.
He got up in protest after four strikes but he
was held down by a young man as the
executioner continued to rain strokes on him. He
made a second break for it when the pain
became unbearable but he was lifted back unto
the bench and held down as the flogging
continued.
The punishment is reportedly supposed to serve
as a deterrent to other potential adulterers and
the video has been widely shared on social
media.

Zambian woman allegedly shot her husband dead because he had a child with another woman (photos)

A 30-year-old woman from Lusaka, Zambia
allegedly shot her husband dead on May 25,
because he had a child with another woman.

Omofaye broke the news yesterday on twitter.
According to Zambezi News, Police deputy
spokesperson Rae Hamoonga in a statement to
Mwebantu stated that Precious Longwe
Liteebele shot her husband Akakanda Lubinda
Liteebele five times.
"The murder occurred at around 03:00 hours at
unknown house number off Buluwe Road
Woodlands extension in which Mr. Akakanda
Lubinda Liteebele aged 30 years was shot at five
times by his wife Precious Longwe Liteebele
aged 30years,” Mr. Hamoonga stated.
"The couple was working for a named bank and
Precious has been arrested and charged with
murder. She used a pistol and the deceased
sustained five bullet wounds: on the chest, left
rib side, right rib side, lower back and on the
right arm."
Mr. Hamoonga stated that four empty cartilages,
one projectile and one ammunition were found
on the scene.
He stated that the pistol had been retrieved by
the police and that the body of the deceased was in the University Teaching Hospital mortuary

Detectives investigating a shooting at a south
London barber's shop have today, May 26,
released CCTV footage in an effort to find a
man they urgently want to speak to.
Officers need to trace 29-year-old Igho Ejeta
following the attempted murder of an innocent
bystander at the shop in Rotherhithe New Road,
SE16 on Friday, 8 May 2015.
Another man is already serving a life sentence
for his role in the incident, having been
convicted by an Old Bailey jury last year.
Detective Constable Jo Ross, from the Trident
and Area Crime Command, said:
"Although we have one man safely behind bars,
we urgently need to trace Ejeta in connection
with this incident. We would ask anyone with
information to come forward in the strictest
confidence and help us find this man."
Ejeta is a black man, 5ft 11inches tall, of
proportionate build and has a long scar that runs
across his face and across the bridge his nose.
He was last known to have black cropped Afro
hair and has links to Lewisham and the south
London area.
Trident launched an investigation after a 38-
year-old woman was shot in the leg whilst she
was sitting in the barber's shop alongside other
customers and children.
The woman was an innocent bystander who was
caught up in a violent altercation between
several men that began outside the shop. The
fight continued inside and Joel Johnson, 27, of
Baildon Street, SE8 appeared in the doorway and
produced a handgun before opening fire.
The bullet passed through the woman's leg and
was later found on the floor. She was taken to a
south London hospital where she was treated
for her injuries.
Officers carried out extensive enquiries to
identify Johnson as the gunman.
On 17 June 2015, Johnson was arrested by
armed officers on suspicion of attempted murder
and possession of a firearm. He was taken to a
south London police station and was charged
with numerous firearms offences. He appeared
for trial at the Old Bailey and was found guilty
of multiple offences on 14 December 2015.
He was sentenced to life imprisonment to serve
a minimum of 14 years for attempted murder,
life imprisonment to serve a minimum of seven-
and-a-half years for wounding with intent (to run
concurrently) and life imprisonment to serve a
minimum of six years for possession of a
firearm with intent to endanger life (to run
concurrently).
Johnson had previously pleaded guilty at the
same court in September 2015 to possession of
a firearm and possession of ammunition. For
those offences he was sentenced to seven years
and three years' imprisonment to run
concurrently.

An 11-year-old boy who was allegedly killed by
his father to please his stepmother, was buried
on Thursday, May 19, in Kagiso, Mogale City,
South Africa. As tradition demands, the boy’s
twin sister was lowered into the grave before
and after his coffin was lowered.
Traditional and community leader Sibangani
Khanyile said this was done to prevent bad luck
and death from following the living twin.
The boy’s sombre funeral was organised by
community members as the whereabouts of
their mother’s family is unknown. The
community came out in large numbers to say
their last goodbyes. The twins are originally
from Mpumalanga and were brought to Kagiso,
Mogale City by a friend of their mum after she
died.
A neighbour said after the twins arrived in
Kagiso they were ill-treated by their stepmum,
who said she couldn’t accept them because their
father had cheated on her with their mum.
At the funeral the boy’s devastated sister was
comforted by their mum’s friend, Nomgqibelo
Maphanga, who brought them from
Mpumalanga.
Nomgqibelo expressed her pain and said she
had lost the most free-spirited child she has
ever come across. She expressed her
appreciation and relief that the funeral
arrangements went according to plan.
"My prayer now is that his soul rests in peace,"
she added.
The boy was killed last Saturday and his body
was found on Tuesday. His father has reportedly
confessed to killing him. The father has been
charged with murder and is still in police
custody.

Former Marine Confesses To Tragic Death Of UNT Student

Eric Jamal Johnson, 20, is being charged with
murder in the shooting death of Sara
Mutschlechner, a student of the University of
North Texas. Mutschelechner was fatally shot
and killed by Johnson after returning from a New
Year's party with friends.
The incident occurred after a dispute at a red
light. Reports say Johnson's vehicle stopped next
to the vehicle Mutschelechner was in. The
passengers of both vehicles began talking while
waiting for the light to turn green when Johnson
and his friends allegedly became vulgar, making
sexual comments at Mutschelechner and her
friends. Reports say one of Johnson's passengers
also told one of Mutschlechner's friends he would
"beat [him up]." During the dispute
Sara Mutschlechner was shot in the head. She
was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Johnson allegedly confessed to police that he
fired gun shots at Mutschlechner's vehicle on
December 31. He also apologized for shooting her
and is cooperating with the investigation.
Johnson made a specific request that his
sympathy to Sara's family and her sorority sisters
be expressed.
Johnson was arrested for the murder of Sara
Mutschlechner in Arizona on January 5. He was
dismissed from the Marine Corps a day later. The
investigation is still ongoing.
Johnson is being held in the Yuma County
Detention Center and is expected to be extradited
to Texas within the next 10 days.
